An Oyster Roast kicks off right at 6:00 followed by an extragavant buffet featuring a Low Country Shrimp Boil, Roasted Pork, along with plenty of other items. 

 

Dinner Buffet will be sponsored By The Pickled Onion, The Glenwood Grill, Bedford Bistro,NoFo, and a few other popular local eateries.

.The purpose of this event is raise awareness for Autism while raising money for Surfers Healing. Surfers Healing, an Autism foundation, offers completely free surf camps for children with Autism. Professional surfers fly in from all around the world to coach and assist these children to ride the waves. Surfers Healing not only gives children with autism the experience of surfing, but also the pride of doing something fun and challenging that is just downright cool. Our efforts will give several families inspiration, hope and pure joy. Many who have had the opportunity to attend the camp will tell you it was one of the best days of their life. Approximately 400+ children are expected to attend the Wrightsville Beach 2 day camp this year. We have only held camp for 1 day in the previous years. It costs roughly $75.00 to completely sponsor one child for a day at camp.. The money raised helps cover a range of things such as insurance, beach permits, equipment upkeep and maintenance as well as provide lunch for the child and his family.
